WHAT IS IT ABOUT THE MERCEDES-AMG GLC 43?

The Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 is the more powerful version of the Mercedes-Benz GLC Sport Utility Vehicle. As we mentioned above, the Mercedes-Benz GLC 43 is available in either a fastback coupe design or a two-box configuration capable of transporting up to five passengers. 

it comes from an AMG-enhanced 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine producing 385 horsepower and 384 lb-ft of torque. This engine will satisfy the needs and desires of most buyers. It is mated to an AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT 9-speed dual-clutch pack automatic transmission. From there, torque is distributed front and rear to the brand's 4MATIC automatic four-wheel-drive system.&

If more power is what you crave, added opportunity and horsepower is available from an optional 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 producing 469 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque. Again, this engine is mated to a 9-speed SPEEDSHIFT gearbox and AMG-enhanced 4MATIC system.

There's a lot more going on underneath the skin of the Mercedes-AMG GLC 43. There's the AMG Dynamic Select drive mode control. AMG's Sport Suspension with Air Body Control helps adapt to the various conditions as sensors read the road up to 500 times a second. New this year is a grille that harkens to the classic Mercedes-Benz racecars of the past, including the 1952 Carrera Panamericana-entered 300 SL. New LED headlamps present a more expressive face than the outgoing model and are joined by new fog lamps and air intakes. While the Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 can tow up to 3,500 pounds, it also offers 17.6 cubic feet of cargo space behind its second-row rear seat. Fold that bench forward and space grows to 56.5 cubic feet.
