Mercedes-Benz A-Class
The gateway to the Mercedes-Benz luxury brand. It is also a fabulous choice for the Mercedes owner trying to downsize or purchase a second vehicle. From its outside good looks to its impressive list of technology features inside, this Mercedes-Benz has it all. These include the award-winning Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) to control the Audio, Navigation, Smartphone Connectivity and more. It even includes the "Hey Mercedes" digital assistant that functions similar to Amazon's Alexa device.
The Mercedes-Benz A-Class is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine producing 188 horsepower and 221 lb-ft of torque. It is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and available in front or all-wheel-drive (AWD). If this isn't enough, check out the Mercedes AMG A 35 with its 302 horsepower 2.0-liter turbo 4-cylinder that works with an AMG-tweaked version of the 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and standard 4MATIC AWD.
Mercedes-Benz AMG C 43
The high-performance version of Mercedes-Benz's luxury compact car, the Mercedes-Benz AMG C 43 is available as a sedan, coupe or cabriolet body style. Powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6, it manages to produce 385 horsepower through a 9-speed gearbox to an AMG-massaged 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system. Looking every bit as docile as the more relaxed C-Class models, the AMG C 43 is a wolf in sheep's clothing, ready to prove its potency with each squeeze of the accelerator pedal.
In addition to all that potency, you will have a sedan, coupe or cabriolet that offers amazing acceleration, amazing grip from the AMG 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system and quick shifts from the AMG 9-speed automatic transmission. Did we mention the 0-60 mph capability of 4.5 seconds? It comes at no extra charge.
Mercedes-Benz AMG GLC 43
The Mercedes-Benz GLC is already a proven platform that is a favorite of families, city dwellers and more. With the Mercedes-Benz AMG GLC 43, the brand proves it can also be a potent contender in the high-performance Crossover field. In a two-box sort of way, they are similar vehicles, with a few changes that begin under the hood. Most importantly, the GLC 43 is powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine. Putting out 385 horsepower with 384 lb-ft of torque, it's an engine that is easy to love and live with, both for its rapid throttle response and its relatively good fuel economy.
The GLC 43 comes with AMG's 9-speed automatic transmission, which offers quick shifts as needed. If you care to change the drive control settings, you can make the GLC 43 even more responsive.
Inside, the GLC 43 carries on its sporting persona with sport seats, carbon-fiber trim, and aluminum trim. But keeping true to its crossover roots, it still manages to be as utilitarian as the standard Mercedes-Benz GLC crossover with loads of cargo space inside.
Mercedes-Benz AMG GLE 53
Like the Mercedes-Benz GLE, the new Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 is a more potent version of the same. Featuring a turbocharged AND supercharged inline-6 engine with a 48-volt power generator, it delivers a combined 429 horsepower and 384 lb-ft of torque. Zero to 60 mph comes on in 4.7 seconds, with the 9-speed automatic transmission delivering silky-smooth gear changes on the way.
There is a standard hatchback-style Crossover vehicle, or buyers can opt for the somewhat sporty coupe body style that looks every bit the part and manages to put the "fast" into fastback. Inside the GLE 53, nearly 25 inches of digital display screen stretches across the dashboard, reminding us of a commercial airliner's glass cockpit. The Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) is also on board, as is the ability to launch the vehicle's digital assistant by uttering the phrase, "Hey Mercedes."
With the Mercedes-AMG GLE 53, it's the best or nothing.

An AMG 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system places the power from the AMG 9-speed automatic transmission directly to the front and rear axles that ride on the Mercedes air suspension.
